Press play för singeln “Marble Gods”

Kärleksaffären mellan Sad Day For Puppets och England fortsätter.

Citat i urval:
The plaid days of early ’90s alt.rock are having a quiet resurgence, and the Stockholm quintet are one of its more beguiling advocates.” … “If the prospect of a Swedish Joy Zipper appeals to you, you should investigate forthwith. – 8/10 NME

I blame last week’s Breeders-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties for taking me back to the fuzzy, dreamy sounds of early ‘90s indie – and nobody steals them better in 2009 than the Sonic Cathedral label’s new bunch of Swedish shoegazers. - The Guardian

This Stockholm five-piece can also do Jesus And Mary Chain-style drone rock and perky indie-pop, but they’re at their best when they slow everything down. - Q Magazine (Paul Lester)

Lead singer Anna Eklund sprinkles her elfin vocals all over the hazy fuzz of feedback by a band of men clearly enthralled by the likes of Dinosaur Jr and My Bloody Valentine. Is it anything we haven’t heard before? No, however if you are a fan of the genre or similar artists there is a whole world to explore on ‘Unknown Colors’. - 7/10 Clash

It’s an old trick, but it’s an effective one – marrying the sturm und drang of big, noisy guitars with dripping, ethereal loveliness, that is. An absolutely charming record. - Plan B

Take this album with you wherever you go this summer, learn it, love it, leave it and come back to it on a rainy day in October when you can’t remember what sunshine looks like. - For Folks Sake

Quite possibly one of the best alternative pop albums so far for 2009 - 4/5 Music Dash
